Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs

The following could be the terms and conditions including the fees for the utilization for the sports facilities by the Organizations.

1. Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Sports Authority of India, Department of Education and State Sports Council implementing sports promotion activities in A&N Islands under UT/Central scheme will be provided the facilities free of charges (except Guest House)

2. The facilities will be provided subject to availability following the use by the Life Members, Ordinary Members and Temporary Members registered with the Department of SAC for the utilization of sports facilities in the Netaji Sports Complex in accordance with order issued by A&N Administration from time to time and on first come first served basis.  However, the celebration of National Days i.e. Independence Day, Republic Day, State functions organized in the honour of President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Union Ministers shall have prudence over the rest and facilities will be available free of charges.

3. The facilities could be availed by Govt. departments recognized UT Level Sports Associations, UT Olympic Associations, Colleges / Schools, Clubs, Private Organizations for sports and sports related activities on payment of fees as under :

   8.	Guest Room at Sports Hostel	For sportspersons, coaches, sports officials, officials of cultural organization recognized by Govt. of India Rs.100/- per day per head.

   Note: Per day shall be read as “per day or part thereof”

   Beside above the user organizations including schools will have to pay separately for the Electricity charges in case flood light facilities are required at Netaji Stadium, which will be payable as work out by the department of SYA in consultation with Electricity Department.

4. Under no circumstances any digging will be permitted in main playing field of stadium either at Port Blair or outside Port Blair.  Even on the occasion of ceremonial parades attention is to be given construct rostrum outside the main playing guards angle.

5. The fees etc. will be paid in advance by the Govt. / Private Organizations.

6. Infrastructure / facilities shall be used as they are and no alternation is allowed.

7. The caution money of Rs.2500/- shall be deposited alongwith advance payment of fees against damage to the infrastructure / facilities such as Stadium, Swimming Pool, Vellodrome and Multipurpose Hall.  The decision of Director (Sports)/Concerned Zonal Incharge with regard to assessment of damage to infrastructure shall be final.

8. The parties / organization shall enter their name and other details in the Register maintained at the respective Sports Complex before they use / receive the facilities.

9. The parties / organizations shall apply to the Department of SYA / Concern Zonal Incharge in the application Form available in Department / Administration’s Web site at least seven days in advance.  Incomplete application forms and applications without required documents shall be rejected summarily.

10. The Director (Sports) / Concern Zonal Incharge reserves the right to allot, refuse and cancel the allotment for use of the infrastructure without assigning any reason thereof.
