Procedure for New Vehicle Registration
Documents Required

Application for registration -From 20

Form 21.
- Road Worthiness certificate in Form 22 from the manufacturer

Form 22(A) From Body Builder if any modification carried out

Valid Insurance certificate.

Proof of Address (Ration card ,Passport, Electoral card, Pay Slip issued by any office of Central or state Govt.,Islander card, Department ID Etc

If party submitting directly for registrtaion Temporary Registration certificate has to be enclosed and if through dealer Orginal Trade Certificate has to attached

Fees 1. Two wheeler Rs.300/- 2. Three Wheeler(NT)- Rs.600/- 3.Three Wheeler(T)-Rs. 1000/- 4. LMV(NT)Rs. 600/-
5. LMV(T) Rs.1000/- 6. HGV/BUS - Rs.1500/-

note*** The application along with above documents shall be produced before the Registering Authority along with Vehicle for inspection.
After inspection of new vehicle, if the vehicle complies with requirement of the Motor Vehicles Act and rules made thereunder, the registration mark will be assigned to the vehicle on the same day.
